Christian Diebitsch is a Fund Manager at Heptagon Capital, having joined in July 2014. His primary responsibility is to manage the Heptagon European Focus Equity Fund. His role also includes researching current portfolio companies, identifying and analysing new investment ideas as well as writing periodical reports regarding the performance of the Fund. Throughout his career on the buy-side, he has followed the same investment philosophy – long-only, quality-growth. Prior to joining Heptagon, Christian spent 10 years as a Portfolio Manager; first at W.P. Stewart & Co before moving to Seilern Investment Management in 2008. Earlier in his career, Christian held roles as a sell-side analyst covering the Scandinavian region, pan-European engineering and capital goods as well as support and financial services, and before that, as a Business Controller for the Swedish trading house, Axel Johnson, in Singapore. Christian began his finance career in 1989 and has a MSc in Financial Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
In his spare time, Christian is an active yacht-racer, and he can be found hitting the slopes in the Alps during the winter-season with his buddies.
